What is antivirus?
An antivirus program, or antivirus, is a program designed to detect, prevent, and remove various types of malicious software (malware) from computers and/or other types of devices (mobile phones, tablets, servers).
Examples of malicious software: viruses, worms, trojan horses, spyware, adware, rootkits, botnets.
