What is computer virus?
A computer virus is a type of malware that infects files and systems, and typically requires the user to open or run a malicious file in order to spread. It can damage, delete, or steal data, and in some cases disable entire systems.
A computer virus is like a biological infection—it spreads silently, replicates, and causes harm before it’s detected.
🔍 Note: If the malware spreads automatically between systems without user interaction, it is technically classified as a worm, not a virus.
