Welcome Paul Omar

Sicra.no is an important channel for Sicra. Potential customers find us through searches, and we share experiences and knowledge that we hope contribute to the collective effort to increase society's competence in cybersecurity specifically. Therefore, Paul Omar is our new web editor.

With 7000 page views in the first two months of 2024, we see that Sicra.no has potential. We write alongside other tasks, and it has therefore been a bit random when we publish content.

Paul Omar will help us ensure the quality of texts and contribute to more consistent publishing. Among other things, he will maintain the publishing calendar and advise employees on writing.

Paul Omar has an MA in rhetoric and linguistic communication from the University of Oslo. His master's thesis on video games as text illustrated that he had a special interest in technology and a specialized competence in text that was attractive for Sicra AS to acquire.

With a background as a public debater, he also has extensive experience writing texts aimed at the public.

We discovered Paul Omar when he participated in an NRK article about young people with disabilities who are unable to enter the job market. When we met with him in February, we perceived him as a skilled and resourceful person.

We have therefore started a collaboration that we hope will provide better content for our readers and good results for Paul Omar and Sicra.

In his free time, he likes to play video games, participate in public debates, and watch Japanese animation. He also enjoys exercising and hiking in Oslomarka.
