We are delighted to welcome Karl Valle to Sicra. Karl is educated at the Norwegian Defence Engineering College and has 15 years of security experience.

He spent the first eight years of his career securing data systems in various branches of the Norwegian Army. Karl has extensive experience in network system management and has worked extensively on rolling out secure infrastructure to support heightened security requirements. Before Sicra, he was a senior security consultant at Orange Cyberdefense.

His professional strengths include Palo Alto firewalls and the security platforms Cortex and Prisma Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft's endpoint security solutions. He thrives when working with developer-centric security in cloud-native application development, with practical tasks such as routing, or tackling challenging security issues with troubleshooting and problem-solving.

– I have never doubted that security is what I want to work with. I love a professional challenge and thrive best when I can work as close to development and programming as possible.

In his free time, his passion is snowboarding down the mountainside with his partner. In the summer, the couple travels around Norway on their Triumph Trident 660 motorcycle.
