Welcome Filip

Filip is burdened with an inherited interest in cybersecurity and holds three SANS certifications. He strengthens our already strong expertise in cybersecurity and also brings specialized knowledge in Prisma Cloud and the rest of the Palo Alto Networks toolkit to Sicra.

Filip has previously worked at Pasientsky, DataEquipment, and Netscurity, and has held roles such as Cyber Incident Responder, Tech Lead, and Product Investigator. Moving forward, he will be the spearhead for Sicra's focus on Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud.

Filip's work experience includes the development and implementation of MDR solutions, XOAR, and leading an Incident Response Team.

Filip also has practical experience in SOC work and an interest in penetration testing. His practical experience also includes Prisma Cloud, Cortex, and Strata. At Sicra, Filip will have special responsibility for our focus on Prisma Cloud.

In his free time, Filip enjoys developing his home lab, which consists of a rack with various systems. Filip is working on completing a SIEM solution based on the elastic stack.

At home, Filip lives the good life with his wife Pia, their 4-year-old son Felix, and their dogs Idefix and Sola. The family previously consisted of two cats, then two budgies and a dog. Filip's family is therefore in continuous development!
