Håkon is known for thriving in complex environments where technology, people and processes must work seamlessly together. He strongly believes in a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration and is passionate about building professional environments where people grow together and bring out the best in each other.
A lot of it is about creating the conditions for people to succeed, both professionally and in our customer deliveries. Sicra consists of incredibly skilled specialists, and my role is to ensure that we build strong teams, share knowledge and continue developing as an environment.
I enjoy working on complex challenges together with other highly skilled people. In large technology environments, no one can know everything alone, so building a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing is absolutely essential.
I am particularly focused on security, identity, automation and DevSecOps. Modern organizations are completely dependent on building security into the development process early, rather than adding it afterwards as an extra layer.
Many security challenges arise at the intersection of development, operations and infrastructure. When you understand how developers work while also having deep expertise in infrastructure and security, it becomes much easier to find solutions that are both secure and practical.
The best solutions are the ones that balance security, user experience and speed. If security is only experienced as a barrier, people will try to work around it. That is why security must be integrated into the way organizations develop technology.
At the same time, solutions must support fast, secure and frequent updates. Strong CI/CD pipelines make it possible to continuously deliver security improvements so vulnerabilities can be addressed quickly without slowing down development.
Complexity. Organizations have more systems, more integrations and more identities than ever before. At the same time, the pace of development is extremely fast.
In this landscape, integrated security, automation and strong delivery processes become critical. Effective identity control, built in security throughout the development lifecycle and robust CI/CD pipelines are no longer “nice to have,” but absolutely necessary to manage risk without losing speed.
CI/CD stands for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. In short, it is about automating the way software is built, tested and released. When developers make changes to code, CI/CD pipelines ensure that updates are automatically quality assured, tested and prepared for production.
In modern security work, this is extremely important. If organizations have to wait a long time to update systems or fix vulnerabilities, the risk increases significantly. With strong CI/CD pipelines, security improvements can be rolled out continuously without slowing down development. It is really about combining speed and control, which is central to the DevSecOps mindset.
You need to think holistically. Infrastructure, identity, code, cloud and security are all closely connected today. The organizations that succeed best are the ones that manage to combine technological maturity with strong work processes and professional environments.
It makes it possible to see the bigger picture. I can discuss architecture, security and scalability with developers, operations teams and leadership alike. That is often where the best solutions emerge, when technology domains do not operate in silos.
It is an environment with very high competence, but at the same time a low threshold for helping each other. People share experiences, challenge each other professionally and are genuinely focused on finding good solutions for customers.
Continuing to develop our competence environments while we grow. Technology evolves rapidly, and so does the threat landscape. That makes the ability to learn, collaborate and continuously improve even more important.
"I lead a very competent organization, and it is not often that we hire consultants. When we do, we only bring in the best in the market. Sicra has three consultants who add great value when we need help in areas such as Citrix, security and access control, and changes in the client environment."
