When Stig created Sicra, he had a fundamental idea: that satisfied customers and employees form the foundation of a sustainable company.
– The idea with Sicra was to build a good workplace. A place where we in the administration function as supporters for skilled consultants.
Stig's first job was as an assistant in his father's IT company Databuss (later Computerland) when he was 20 years old in 1987. He says he drove goods, assembled, installed, and helped customers with technical problems.
– It was during this period that I learned the importance of good customer experiences.
The company grew to 200 employees with a turnover of half a billion. Stig says he grew with the company, including in the role of general manager for the company's Oslo office.
– This experience was very useful in the establishment and operation of Sicra.
The practical experience from his father's and other companies was expanded with two master's degrees in executive MBA from BI Norwegian Business School and ESCP in Paris.
– For example, it was nice to get confirmation that good customer experiences lead to good economic development over time.
Many employees describe Stig as a steady captain at the helm. This is a more fitting metaphor for Stig than most leaders. Boating is something Stig is passionate about.
– This is expressed, among other things, by all employees receiving a Musto sailing jacket as part of the welcome package.
Stig shares this love of boating with his wife Tone and their five grown children. In recent years, they have moved their boating life to the Adriatic Sea.
– The nice thing about boating is the mobility. If you don't like the neighborhood, you can always move.
