Mia Skriver Haukås has been a partner since we founded Sicra. As of January 1, 2025, she became our Chief People Officer (CPO).
– When my late husband Terje and I started TPM (Tipping Point Methodology), we had a dream of using TPM to create brilliant work environments with brilliant results.
– As a consultant for Sicra, the dream Terje and I set 25 years ago has come closer.
Today, we are around 30 talented people. We aim to become many more talented people. Therefore, it has been completely natural for Sicra to hire Mia as a full-time CPO.
Her most important role at Sicra is to work with culture and conduct leadership training.
– Contributing to culture building with such brilliant results is the most meaningful thing I do. It confirms what I have thought for many years; Only when culture and people are put first on the agenda do the very best results come.
– It is a philosophy Sicra shares with me. Therefore, it was easy to say yes to becoming a permanent employee at Sicra.
Everything that happens in an organization is under someone's leadership.
– I have worked with leadership for 25 years and experienced many different types of leaders. Coming under Stig's leadership feels like a great privilege. Stig is a true relationship artist!
A CPO at Sicra has several important tasks.
Train leaders and new employees in Sicra's culture and enhance skills for collaboration, interpersonal communication, and individual well-being.
Ensure sufficient knowledge and ownership of Sicra's leadership philosophy in all leadership functions.
Coach and assist employees, including their immediate family.
Work with collaboration and culture for everyone at Sicra.
Provide insight and knowledge about different people's needs and preferences in interpersonal relationships.
The goal of having all these functions is to ensure that employees are heard and seen at Sicra. This becomes especially important in the change process Sicra is in.
– For me, children, grandchildren, and my partner are the first priority in my free time.
Cooking is also an important watering hole for Mia.
– Being able to grow my own vegetables and use my own meat is a true luxury.
Mia says she is also an Italophile.
– I love the food, the architecture, the artworks, the nature, and the language.
Mia is also writing a book.
– I am writing a book about how to build emotional muscles, so that one can more easily handle life's small and large challenges.
Music has always been an important watering hole for Mia.
– Music is more important than food for me. I love to sing. It makes my stress hormones run "over hills and far away."
