Sicra was one of the first from Europe to participate, and since then, there have been more than 100 partners globally. In March, some of these were nominated to present their deliveries and development. Competing against larger companies, Sicra won first place. We greatly appreciate the recognition and will continue to develop our capacity in this important field.
The security situation remains serious. The threat landscape that receives the most attention is driven by the situation around Ukraine, but there is no doubt that digital crime and industrial espionage continue to be significant threats. There are no national borders on the Internet, and in Norway, the recognition that actors like North Korea, China, Iran, and others are digital neighbors with bad manners is beginning to sink in. There are still too few resources with the right expertise, and both educational institutions and technology providers have a role to play in developing this capacity to meet the challenges. The PSDP program is a successful example of this.
Sicra has invested significant resources in this area, and this continues unabated. So far this year, we have had consultants at Palo Alto Networks' technical conference in the USA, participated in SANS training in Madrid, visited Microsoft's security center in Israel, and conducted several training sessions in Norway. We have also initiated a collaboration with Arctic Wolf with their SOC as a service. Continuous competence development and good partners, combined with our experienced consulting team, enable us to deliver solutions for the most demanding environments. The justification from Palo Alto Networks confirms this.
The FY22 Awards for Customer Excellence offers Palo Alto Networks Professional Services Partner Development Program (PSDP) partners a unique opportunity to be recognized for their PANW PS deployments. In March 2023, three members of the Palo Alto Networks Professional Services Partner Development Program (PSDP) were asked to take part in a webinar and present two unique use cases; an “early state” project and a “current state” project to demonstrate how the PSDP has facilitated their growth. On May 1st, a panel of judges reviewed each use case and ranked them based on innovation, customization, and results. The winners were:
