Platinum partner – Cloud Software Group

Citrix was taken private last year and merged with Tibco. The new company is called Cloud Software Group and is one of the larger software companies for Enterprise Software. As part of the change, the former product lines NetScaler, Virtual Apps And Desktop, and Sharefile were separated into their own divisions. We are cautiously optimistic that this will provide better conditions for new solution innovation and agility. Many of the changes are still ongoing.

Our primary interest in this is NetScaler – Application Delivery Controller, and it is likely the reason we have achieved Platinum status. With eight experienced specialists in this area, we are in a unique position, and Citrix has occasionally described us as the leading consulting environment in Northern Europe.

Shortly after the news was announced, we had a meeting and were introduced to the head of the new NetScaler division, Abhilash Verma, and parts of his leadership team. In this meeting, he expressed that the Nordic region was an exciting market due to high technology adoption and that it was of particular interest to maintain a good dialogue going forward.

ADC solutions still hold high value for many customers, perhaps especially in a hybrid/cloud world for larger enterprises. The technology is used as a problem solver for authentication, security, and customizations. We are pleased to deliver services to many of the largest installations in Norway, and therefore have both knowledge, extensive training, and experience from a wide range of issues.

Regarding Virtual Apps and Desktop (CVAD), we have ample experience and expertise in-house, and also a close collaboration and friendship with Wedel IT, which offers additional skilled personnel.
