What is dark web?
The dark web refers to a part of the internet that is not visible to search engines and requires special software, such as Tor, to access. The Dark Web is known for being a place where anonymity and privacy are highly prioritized, but it is also associated with illegal activities (illegal drugs, weapons sales, trafficking, etc.).
Tor (The Onion Router) is a free and open-source software that allows you to browse the internet privately and securely. Tor protects users from tracking and surveillance by routing internet traffic through a global network of volunteer servers, known as relays. This makes it very difficult for anyone to trace your internet traffic back to you.
It is important to note that not everything on the Dark Web is illegal. There are also legitimate uses, such as participating in discussion forums, accessing information in countries with strict censorship, and protecting one’s privacy.
