What is biometrics?
Biometrics uses unique traits like your fingerprint, face, or voice to confirm your identity. These can be physical features (like your eyes or hands) or behavioral patterns (like how you speak or type).
Instead of remembering passwords, you use something that’s part of you. This makes it harder for others to break in, and easier for you to log in.
Biometric systems don’t store actual images of your face or fingerprint. They save encrypted mathematical patterns, usually on your device, which can’t be turned back into a photo.
Sicra and biometrics
Sicra helps organizations implement secure biometric solutions as part of a passwordless strategy. We work with technologies like Windows Hello, fingerprint readers, and facial recognition – and make sure everything is secure and GDPR-compliant.
We also assess security, prevent spoofing, and train users. Our goal is to make authentication both safe and simple.
