Why did you choose Sicra?
Sicra has many specialists across several different fields, an innovative culture, and a quality-based approach towards clients. Sicra offers solutions and not products.
They are also good at maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Sicra takes a different path than many companies. While others want employees back in the office, regardless of what we learned as a society during the pandemic, Sicra offers flexibility by allowing employees to choose whether they want to work from the office or from home.
What technologies do you work with?
Security, IAM/Governance, and cybersecurity in Azure.
What does a typical workday look like for you, or what do you think it will look like at Sicra?
I start my day with a good cup of iced latte from my home office, and spend the day contributing to interesting and valuable projects.
I also look forward to collaborating with colleagues and using my expertise to create the best results for Sicra’s clients. I want to make a difference for both Sicra and its clients through the best technologies and knowledge.
What does success mean in your field, and why?
Success is when you have made a difference with high quality. It is when a client is not only satisfied with the solution, but when the project can also help set a higher standard in the security landscape.
What motivates you at work and in your role, what’s fun?
Professional curiosity, a good plan, and the motivation to complete it.
Which app, can be anything, do you use the most, and why?
Microsoft Authenticator and Bitwarden because of data security.
What’s your favorite quote?
"No one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away," says Sir Terry Pratchett.
Do you have a favorite podcast, or a book you would recommend?
"Jingo" by Sir Terry Pratchett. The book is about conflict and how this is never simple because it involves different cultures and perspectives. It shows how meaningful cooperation can happen when curiosity without prejudice opens the door to seeing the important nuances.
Something not many people know about you?
I laugh the most at jokes that aren’t funny, because they are not funny at all.
