DevSecOps and Platform Engineering Expertise 

Dimitrios is an experienced DevSecOps architect and platform engineer. He focuses on building secure, scalable, and automated Cloud architectures, especially for large enterprises.

– When you are thinking about large enterprises, or companies, we are talking about entities like Visma, Viken County Municipality, and Fjordline.

Cloud Expertise 

Dimitrios also has experience with cloud and multi-cloud environments. He has deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) from his work at Visma.

His Azure expertise includes extensive experience in designing Azure Hub-and-Spoke network architecture, centralized security, and governance controls.

He is also skilled in integrating centralized firewalls in Hub-and-Spoke models, ensuring network visibility and policy enforcement.

His expertise includes Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), container orchestration, and microservice deployments, including service mesh and Gateway API.

CI/CD GitOps Expertise 

Extensive experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Proficient in GitOps for declarative infrastructure and continuous deployment, ensuring reliable and efficient updates.

Kubernetes 

Expertise in building and designing Kubernetes environments, including multi-cluster deployments and scaling using AKS & EKS.

Highly skilled in orchestration tools for centralized workloads, ensuring high availability and resilience in production environments.

SIEM and Security Integration 

Experienced in integrating Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions for monitoring and threat detection in Azure and multi-cloud environments.

Expertise in establishing centralized security policies within hub-and-spoke models, ensuring consistent and continuous enforcement of security and visibility across all network branches.

Tech enthusiast and outdoor adventurer

In his free time, Dimitrios enjoys working on electrical engineering projects, focusing on battery design and off-grid technology.

Outside of work, he is also an avid adventurer, engaging in activities like ski touring, surfing, and sailing.

Dimitrios is half Scottish and half Greek. He has lived in Norway for the past 15 years. He understands Norwegian well, but his primary working language is English, and he also speaks Greek.
