Anti Sourdi

Senior nettverkskonsulent og -arkitekt
Anti Sourdi is passionate about building robust networks and secure solutions – and sees the merger between Bluetree and Sicra as a powerful step into the future of technology.

Name: Anti Sourdi
Role/title: Senior network consultant and architect
Where do you live: Oslo

You originally come from Bluetree, which has just merged with Sicra. What are your thoughts on the merger, and what expectations do you have for the transition from Bluetree to Sicra?

I’m very positive and believe this merger is about building a stronger foundation for the technology of the future by combining networking and security, which will benefit users. In addition, increased expertise can lead to technological breakthroughs on a scale that neither of the two companies could have achieved alone.

My expectations are that the merged company will become a stronger player in the market while also gaining access to new customer segments.

What do you work with, and which technologies do you use in your job today?

I work as a network architect and security consultant in the Project and Delivery department. I am responsible for network architecture and implementation related to tasks involving mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as well as modernization projects. I use networking technologies such as SD-WAN, data security, and SASE.

What does your typical workday look like, and what does success mean to you in a professional context?

I have busy days at work. Working with varied design and architecture tasks is highly stimulating and makes time fly.

Success for me means creating value. Contributing to the customer’s long-term growth, for example through a strong customer experience or a positive reputation. Success is also about developing yourself as a professional.

What motivates you at work, what do you find most rewarding, and what are you most looking forward to going forward?

What I find most rewarding is analyzing business and technological needs, ensuring network performance, and seeing the bigger picture in systems. That gives a very satisfying feeling.

What I’m most looking forward to is the potential for technology and human collaboration to solve the major global challenges we are facing.

Which app or tool do you use the most in everyday life, and why?

My phone says I use FamilyWall and Spond the most. That’s because of all the children’s activities and other family planning registered there.

Do you have a favorite quote?

Don’t watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going. – Sam Levenson

What do you like to spend time on when you’re not working?

I spend a lot of time with my family and kids. We go on trips, or I follow their activities and tournaments, including chess, football, and swimming.

What do you prefer?

Working from home or the office? Flexi 40/60

Biometrics or passcode? Biometrics

Face ID or Touch ID? Touch ID

Vipps or cash? Vipps

Gaming or TV? TV

Book or podcast? Podcast while commuting, book at home

Vacation in Norway or abroad? Abroad, but I believe that the people you travel with matter more.
