What is Kerberos?
Kerberos is a network authentication protocol that uses tickets to allow nodes to communicate securely over an insecure network.
Kerberos works like a security guard handing out tickets to people who want to enter an event. Only those with valid tickets get access, and the guard checks tickets at each entrance to ensure no unauthorized persons get in. This makes communication between computers secure and reliable.
Sicra and Kerberos
Sicra helps organizations implement Kerberos to secure authentication and communication within the network. This includes proper configuration of Kerberos and training employees on the use of the protocol.
